Tabletopia icon Enjoy a variety of tabletop game and challenge people from all over the world in this multiplayer simulator

Although some may find it surprising, tabletop games are still very popular, even more so than they were back when video games were not yet mainstream. Hence, there are all sorts of interesting role-playing tabletop games to choose from, as well as strategy or society games, depending on which ones you enjoy the most.

Choose the desired game and play it over the Internet

Tabletopia is a free-to-play multiplayer game that provides you with a huge collection of board and tabletop games, as well as the option to enjoy them with people from all over the world whenever you feel like it. On top of that, you can even create your own games and share them with your friends, even if you do not have programming skills or experience in this field.

To begin with, you can join one of the many lobbies that are created by the other people playing the game, depending on whether you want to start a session with them or create your own. The list of available game is quite large, spanning over three hundred titles, all of them are original and licensed. In addition, there are a couple of classic games as well, including chess and checkers.

Create your own games and share them with the world

After you start a session and you begin to play, the interface changes to one you might be familiar with from other tabletop simulators. On the other hand, although it’s easy to move the camera around and look at things, performing actions might be a tad difficult sometimes. In essence, the controls can be difficult to grasp every now and again, depending on the game and the actions you have to undertake.

The graphics are more than decent, on the other hand, and it’s a blast to look at all the figurines and maps that spread before you. You might be annoyed by the long load times, but then again the game sessions can be very long as well, so this is not always a problem. Hence, there are no issues with the visual quality, but there are a few bugs that can cause frustration.

A great way to have fun with your friends

In the end, Tabletopia is a pretty solid game, depending on what you are looking for from the genre. Thus, if you do not mind the bugs and the disorienting business model, you can easily have a lot of fun with the game.
