Pretty much everyone agrees that 2018 iPhones are too expensive, but as Apple CEO Tim Cook argued, it all comes down to the technology that you get when buying a new product.
The top-of-the-range iPhone XS Max costs no less than $1,449 in the United States when equipped with 512GB RAM, but as it turns out, this isn’t the most expensive 2018 iPhone that you can buy right now.
Brikk, the company that has in the past announced some out-of-this-world-expensive products, is back with its own customized version of the iPhone XS that costs no less than $3 million.
A slightly cheaper version is not made from gold, diamonds, or a rare form of carbon, but from the Henbury meteorite that landed in Australia back in 1931. So this is truly a one-of-a-kind iPhone XS that you don’t see every day.
“Slices from this iron meteorite display what is known as Widmanstatten patterns. A stunningly intricate lattice formed as the Molten asteroid core of a meteorite slowly cools. These patters cannot be found in any rocks native to Earth,” Brikk explains on its website.
$3 million iPhone
This super-exclusive iPhone XS is available in two different styles called Double and Omni, and starts at $39,995. The most expensive version is sold for $99,995.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for the absolute most exquisite iPhone XS ever released, Brikk is selling a version called Lux iPhone XS Royal Jade made from a variety of different selections. It can use a tri-colored jade of green, orange and lavender on white or a near imperial jade of almost pure green, as the company itself explains.
Pricing this time goes up to $3 million and is only available as part of the company’s Concierge program.
Obviously, Brikk won’t mass-produce these versions of the iPhone XS, so you need to hurry up if you’re ready to spend that much on a smartphone. On the other hand, if you miss the offer, don’t worry because in just a few years, iPhone may end up costing even more judging from Apple’s pricing strategy.
